The Kauffman Center will present an amazing range of programming under one glorious roof. Our resident companies—the Kansas City Symphony, the Lyric Opera, and the Kansas City Ballet— will present dozens of concerts and performances a year.

Plus the Kauffman Center will stretch our artistic imaginations by bringing in other performing arts groups--from around our region to around the world.  You’ll enjoy dance and music of all types from pop to rock, light classical to country, jazz groups to bands, and gospel to folk music, as well as smaller Broadway and off-Broadway touring productions.

Family programming at the Kauffman Center introduces children and adults to the exciting world of the performing arts through musical performances, ethnic dance groups, artist talks, books brought alive by artists, special events and more.

Diverse events will activate the Kauffman Center with creativity, social exchange and cultural diversity as we celebrate human creative potential through dance, music, song, acting and storytelling.  Everyone is invited to participate and to learn, laugh and love the performing arts.
