Operations for the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts are managed by a team of professional staff devoted to development and related fund- raising activities, accounting and finance, and other administrative affairs. Senior management of the operating organization are:

Jane Chu, President and Chief Executive Officer

Jane Chu began her position on November 1, 2006 as the first president and chief executive officer of the Kauffman Center.  Jane leads the development, strategy, programming and community initiatives for the facility, both in its pre-opening phase before 2010 and beyond.

Bud Jeffress, Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer

Bud Jeffress joined the Kauffman Center team on January 1, 2007. In his role, Bud leads and manages the development of financial processes and operations of the Kauffman Center during pre-opening and beyond.
