Operations for the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts are managed by a team of professional staff devoted to development and related fund-raising activities, accounting and finance, and other administrative affairs.

Jane Chu, President and Chief Executive Officer

Jane Chu began her position on November 1, 2006 as the first president and chief executive officer of the Kauffman Center.  Jane leads the development, strategy, programming and community initiatives for the facility, both in its pre-opening phase before 2011 and beyond.

Bud Jeffress, Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer

Bud Jeffress joined the Kauffman Center team on January 1, 2007. In his role, Bud leads and manages the development of financial processes and operations of the Kauffman Center during pre-opening and beyond.

Christopher Beal, Senior Director of Development    

Christopher Beal joined the Kauffman Center staff on April 15, 2009 as the senior director of development.  In his role, Christopher is responsible for the Kauffman Center's capital campaign and other fundraising activities in support of the Center prior to opening and beyond.
